3. Why we use information

We may use information to create and secure accounts, provide tools and tracking, manage memberships and billing, apply referral rewards, personalise supported preferences, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, maintain platform reliability and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell member personal information to advertisers.

4. When information may be shared

We may disclose information to trusted service providers that help us operate HedgeHub, such as payment processing, authentication, hosting, email delivery and platform infrastructure providers. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a legitimate business restructure or transfer.

Providers are given only the information reasonably required for the relevant service and are subject to their own privacy and security obligations.

5. Overseas processing

Some technology providers may store or process information outside Australia. The countries involved can change as providers operate global infrastructure. Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to use reputable providers and appropriate safeguards.

6. Cookies and browser storage

HedgeHub uses cookies and similar browser storage where needed for account sessions, preferences, security and member functionality. Some local browser storage may also be used to make tool and tracker experiences faster.

See our Cookie & Browser Storage Notice for more detail.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal or accounting obligations. Retention periods vary by information type.

If you want to request account closure or ask about deletion, use the Contact & Support page. Some records may need to be retained where law or legitimate record-keeping requirements apply.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect member information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so members should also use a unique password, protect their email account and report suspicious activity promptly.

See Account Security.

9. Access, correction and complaints

You can update supported account preferences in HedgeHub. For locked identity details, access requests, corrections or privacy questions, contact HedgeHub support.

If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first so we can review it. Information about Australian privacy rights is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
