HEDGEHUB BOOT CAMP

Learn the workflow before the deeper numbers.

You do not need to understand every tool or metric on day one. Complete these five steps and you will know where to start, what a HedgeHub result is telling you and where to track what you actually placed.

HedgeHub5-step Boot CampUpdated 16 August 2026
Step 01

Understand what HedgeHub does.

HedgeHub analyses supported markets, promotions and hedge calculations. It does not place bets for you. You still confirm the exact event, market, price, stake and promotion terms before acting.

Analysis first. Verification before placement. →
Step 02

Find one opportunity.

Start with EdgeFinder when you want a value bet. Choose a focused sport and review the shortlist instead of trying to read every market at once.

Member workspace → EdgeFinder →
Step 03

Read the pick in the right order.

Start with the selection, bookmaker price, Hedge Score and confidence. Treat probability estimates, comparison coverage and other technical metrics as deeper context when you want it.

Simple first. Advanced details second. →
Step 04

Use MatchPilot for promotions.

If you have a qualifying bet, bonus bet or supported promotion, MatchPilot walks through the position in order and calculates the hedge from the prices you can actually accept.

Choose the promotion → verify prices → review hedge →
Step 05

Track the accepted position.

Send the position to HedgeTrack once you have reviewed and accepted the real prices. Keep placed status, settlement and performance connected to the workflow that produced it.

HedgeTrack becomes your source of truth. →
After Boot Camp

Open the advanced tools when you need them.

SGM IQ, arbitrage workflows and deeper performance views are still there. The goal is to add complexity only when the job in front of you requires it.

You do not need to use everything at once. →

Your first clean HedgeHub session.

Log in → choose one job → review the analysis → verify the exact live details → place only if you are comfortable → save the accepted position to HedgeTrack. If you only remember one workflow, remember that one.

What the key terms mean

  • Hedge Score: a HedgeHub ranking used to help prioritise opportunities. It is not a guarantee of a winning bet.
  • Confidence: context about the quality and coverage behind the analysis, not certainty about the result.
  • Fair price / probability: an estimate used to compare the offered price with the underlying market view.
  • Accepted price: the actual price available when you place the position. Recalculate when the live price changes.
  • HedgeTrack: your private record of positions, stakes, settlements and performance.

Before your first bet

  • Set a betting budget you can afford to lose.
  • Confirm the event, selection, market, line, price and stake immediately before placement.
  • Read the bookmaker promotion rules before attempting a matched-betting or bonus-back workflow.
  • Do not treat a model score, estimated edge or historical result as a guaranteed outcome.
  • Read our Responsible Gambling guide.
